Dex is bisexual in the tv series -- same as in the comics:
"Yeah, she is bisexual," star Smulders told POPSUGAR at the 2019 TCA Summer press tour." – "In "It's About Time" News, the Main Character of This Detective Show Will Be Bisexual", Andrea Reiher (August 15, 2019), Popsugar.
Additionally: "Cobie Smulders Plays A Bisexual Detective With PTSD In ABC's New Fall Series 'Stumptown'", Laura Dorwart (August 26, 2019), Forbes"Stumptown Is the Bisexual PTSD Rockford Files Remake We Didn't Know We Needed", Aaron Barnhart (September 25, 2019), Primetimer"Fans Will Get to Meet Dex's Ex-Girlfriend in New 'Stumptown' Episode", Gabrielle Bernardini (November 6, 2019), DistractifyPyxis Solitary (yak) 09:08, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, she's bisexual, but it's not treated as a significant plot point. With LGBT characters appearing more and more on TV, if just including a main LGBT character is enough to be included in those cats, practically every new show will be in it. Their sexuality should either be a major plot point, or there should have to be multiple LGBT characters to belong in the cat. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 06:09, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
"if just including a main LGBT character is enough to be included in those cats, practically every new show will be in it." There's a major difference between a tv series whose lead character is bisexual, and a tv series that includes a bisexual character. And your reasoning is equivalent to the cries of "don't shove gays in my face!" and "why do they have to shove gays down my throat?" Pyxis Solitary (yak) 08:52, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
