Common name[edit]

Is the common name truly the one given to it? As far as i know, the name was given to it by the Monterey Bay Research Institute and subsequently picked up by media citing the same research institute. Anthropophoca (talk) 02:29, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sightings in the Antarctic Ocean[edit]

Should the part about Giant Phantom Jellyfish not being in the Antarctic Ocean be updated? From what I researched, Polar Research, National Geographic, and LiveScience there have been at least sightings of the animal there. Of course, it can't be certain that they are native there, but shouldn't it be at least mentioned that was at least a sighting in the Antarctic Ocean?
