Tamil heritage[edit]

The discoveries in Keeladi is mind boggling. Every Tamil speaking person should sit up and start reflecting about his/her heritage. May further excavations prove that Tamil history is even older.

My Guess is that before arrival of the Aryans and intrusion of Sanskrit into Dravidian culture and language the whole of India was Dravidian and society was using Tamili as a base language. Keeladi and Harappa may be the first 2 of many more cities buried in the rest of india. The British were generous to excavate Harappa and show that it was pre-Aryan. Keeladi was a result of deep passion by a select group of Tamil archeologists. They proved the connection between Harappa and Keeladi. I salute them. I doubt the current Indian government will encourage digging in other states. The malayalees, telegus and Kannadas have generally been mentally compromised to forget their Dravidian pre-Aryan roots.

I have a hypothesis: Mostly likely Pre- Aryan Tamil civilisation started in Lemuria ( Kumari Kandam) and spread in all directions. In India it spread northwards towards harrapa and maybe even further westwards to Middle East like sumeria and not the other way!

I hope resources can be found to establish this.. Tel338 (talk) 04:51, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
