Electronic communities[edit]

Near the end of the last episode Burke talks about electronic communities. This is the earliest I've ever heard anyone use that phrase. Did he invent it? Sbwoodside 01:29, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episode list[edit]

Why are there two episode lists with different titles here? Jooler 22:41, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the official releases, listings, website etc. call them by one name, and at the beginning of the episodes themselves the other titles appear Quadparty 23:41, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that seems odd, but why have two lists, they should be combined. Jooler —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jooler (talkcontribs) 12:40, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reception - 21st century views[edit]

The need for a non-primary source for the paragraph on 21st century views has been noted already.

Just to reinforce the need for a reliable authority on this topic:

In episode 8, Burke stands on the East-West border in Lapland and says "on both sides ... the view is equally materialist, in the philosophical sense".

This directly contradicts the summary in the section on Reception. Piano beat (talk) 12:22, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This statement from Burke is at about the 45 minute point in the episode. Piano beat (talk) 12:26, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
