GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
I think that "foodie" should be on the WTW list, but it's applyed well on the article.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
So you're basicly splitting the sections in positive and negative, but how it's put, you say that fcs don't like the episode while that the tvc. Get different positive and negatives for each section
I have not found any sources other than the food critics that have given the episode negative reviews. I have, however, expanded the food critics section to include quotes from the critics that gave it positive reviews. Theleftorium (talk) 13:02, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    That's better. I see more references too. ~~Ebe123~~ → report on my contribs. 14:11, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Lead[edit]

  • "after" is used many times when could be replaced.

Plot[edit]

  • "another" for the first sentence is unnecessary. In no other episode, it was never refered as a "fun Saturday". Also just a complementary adjective.
    • "another" is necessary because it is explained in the episode that they have spent several Saturdays together, and that explains why Marge feels upset. Theleftorium (talk) 12:41, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • "On the way back, the car engine dies and they are forced to stop in the neighborhood of Little Ethiopia. Bart and Lisa get hungry so the three go into a restaurant serving Ethiopian food." could this be more fluid?

Production[edit]

None.

References to culture[edit]

In other simpsons episodes articles, it's "Cultural references", so for consistancy, it should be Cultural references.

Addition Needed for Cultural References[edit]

Thanks to the marathon, I just watched this episode. And I was surprised to find a reference missing from the section. The song that played during the episode and at the end credits was a parody of the Jay-Z song "Empire State of Mind" featuring Alicia Keys. This should be added.
