Episode 1 air date

There's a footnote saying that it was released online on november 23rd. I can't find any source for this - does anybody have anything?

Also, I think that it's worth saying that the original airdate was the December 16th, because that's when they aired the first episode. They're airing it again, but it's already been aired, as has been reflected in the article. Smith(talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:45, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

That's not correct, and probably a copy-paste error from The Expanse. Here is the proper reference. The first episode was aired December 16, 2015.–Dark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 13:39, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

What's the best thing to do about the ratings of the two air dates? As per this revision, they list two ratings for the proper release date and the prerelease airing. Smith(talk) 14:53, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Amanda Tapping

@A.amitkumar: Please describe which part of WP:UGC does not allow the inclusion of Amanda Tapping as a director. Given that the account is verified, it is a valid source supported by WP:RS. Furthermore, I would direct you to WP:SOCIALMEDIA. Alex|The|Whovian? 07:40, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: You need to read WP:SOCIALMEDIA better, it clearly says it is valid as long as "the material is neither unduly self-serving nor an exceptional claim;" (It is self serving) here, and it does not involve claims about third parties;. and it specifically says - "These requirements also apply to pages from social networking websites such as Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook." More over there is no secondary references and there is no clarity on the claim of whether she is even directing an episode by herself, it just claims she is involved! which makes no sense to be included in the article as a separate sentence with undue weight!  A m i t  웃   07:48, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Explain to me how the entry for Joshua Butler directing Episode 10 is any different, then. And would [1] this count as a valid source? "Her busy schedule will continue well into 2016 as she will be bringing her talents back to Dark Matter in Season 2, along with helming upcoming episodes of X Company and SyFy’s The Magicians." Alex|The|Whovian? 07:54, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
WP:OSE and your reference/citation still doesn't claim if she is directing or sweeping the floors at the set!  A m i t  웃   07:59, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Please explain your link to the WP:OSE essay. And it clearly states that she is helming the episode. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:01, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Just because other stuff exists, doesn't mean this should too. Also helming at what was my question! No secondary citations, if only (Redacted)  A m i t  웃   08:09, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
So, it is valid for Joshua Butler to state that he's directing an episode, and it may stay in the table, but not for the exact same case for Amanda Tapping? This makes no sense. Also, I've redacted your uncivil comments - please do remain civil in discussions, as I have done with you. Thank you. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:11, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Just repeating something which arguably still hasn't made sense wont make it valid!! Also do you come with your own army of trolls? Civility. Unless you have a proper citation dont keep repeating the same logic again and again. That us the rudest form of communication.  A m i t  웃   08:14, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
And yet here you are, doing the same thing? Alex|The|Whovian? 08:15, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Started Rewrite of Episode Synopses

I took a quick pass at rewriting the current list of episode descriptions. There were a lot of grammatical issues, spelling/capitalization inconsistencies and just phrasing that didn't make sense. I think there are also some plot points that can be described more clearly, but I've only done one run through of the series so far, and I'll probably hold off on a rewatching until later in the year, closer to when Season 2 is going to be released. At that time, when it's fresher in my head, I'll do another pass and look for sharper content changes. CleverTitania (talk) 03:53, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Season 3 regulars

How come Brittany Curran, Trevor Einhorn and Adam DiMarco are not added into the main cast section after they were upgraded to series regulars. Somebody did added them before their edit was reverted. Unicornaholic243 (talk) 07:09, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

They are only added once they have actually been credited in an episode as series regulars, not after their promotion; i.e. once the third season has premiered. -- AlexTW 07:24, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
I have seen several TV show wiki pages add in new series regulars on the day they are announced. Maybe somebody should've follow that route. Unicornaholic243 (talk) 15:50, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Can you link those articles? They should only be added to the cast once they've been credited as such. -- AlexTW 15:54, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Each actor is already linked except DiMarco. Unicornaholic243 (talk) 16:31, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
I am talking of the articles where series regulars have been added before they've been credits, not the articles for actors on this page. -- AlexTW 16:33, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Mr. Robot, Supergirl and Kevin Can Wait are the prime examples I know of. Wish I can add more but my response would've been bloated by now. An actor whose promoted to series regular gets added into the main cast section only instead of main cast and starring section. The latter is added on the day the season premiere airs the order of the main cast for each season. Unicornaholic243 (talk) 16:45, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

the class of -23

Is it necessary to mention Penny-23, Marina-23, and Quentin-23? And if Quentin-23, why not Alice-23 (who appears in two episodes to Quentin's one) or Josh-23? —Tamfang (talk) 06:09, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
