The Moog → The Moog (band) – Although there is only entity with an article called "The Moog", I think most people typing that term into Wikipedia will be looking for something to do with the synthesizer, and just possibly the odd one looking for a character in a long forgotten children's TV show who doesn't seem to have anything to do with Robert Moog whatsoever. In turn, I would expect this page to become a redirect to Moog, the current disambiguation page. Ritchie333 ^(talk) ^(cont) 14:01, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support since it is a brand name not "a moog" but "the Moog", it would not be unreasonable to be misled by this title. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:24, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose as unnecessary precision. All you need is a hatnote on the article to avoid any potential extremely limited confusion, so I'll put one on now. "Moog Music allowed use of the name for the band on the condition that they precede it with 'The'." If it's good enough for Moog Music, it's good enough for me.
