Facts removed from the plot[edit]

In the final episode of season 2, the following were removed

"Raniere brings a Mexican family and their three daughters identified as Marianna, Camila, and Daniela to the United States. Camila testifies at the court sentencing that Raniere began having intercourse with her when she was 15 and he was 45. In spite of this, the family's father submitted a statement in support of Raniere due to the financial support Raniere had given to the whole family that had migrated to the United States. The federal judge Nicholas Garaufis expressed outrage at the father's statements. "How the Nxivm Sex Cult Leader Tore One Family Apart - The New York Times (nytimes.com)" Marianna is the mother of one of Raniere's sons. Raniere has set up a trust fund for their son, according to prosecution."

This should be included especially the father's support for Raniere. From the father's perspective, his daughter could have married at 15 which is legal in Mexico (Ages of consent in North America), never come to the state of New York, receive no financial support, and remained in Mexico.

The current plot are too American-centric. You have Catherine Oxenberg saying her adult 26-year-old daughter is a "child" and numerous other women in their 30s to 50s infantilizing themselves. 2601:C4:C300:A210:5C79:9013:84A0:5DC0 (talk) 18:24, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
