1503[edit]

Under the heading '16th century', in the first row of the table it states: "The first Africans were brought to Hispaniola as people in the u.s ." What does "... in the u.s ." (sic) mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.203.206.153 (talk) 07:03, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Theatre[edit]

It would be interesting to know when the first theatre or opera was funded in Haiti! I know they were theatres in both Port-au-Prince and in Cap-Haitien (then Cap-Francais) in the 1780s, but i don't know when they were founded. I hope someone puts that in someday! --85.226.235.206 15:14, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revert[edit]

I have reverted about 8 sequential edits by 4 different IPs because in trying to add the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the editors removed 2 entries regarding school collapses in 2008. It may be best to leave it until the earthquake situation is clearer.--220.101.28.25 (talk) 10:01, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
