Mexican-American? Active since 1980?[edit]

The article describes him as "Mexican-American" despite the fact he was born in Laredo, Texas. Does he hold Mexican citizenship? Did he emigrate from Texas to Mexico?

It also says he’s been active since 1980, when he was 5, but his first credit dates from 2000. Is this accurate?does he have credit as a child actor? -- Rrburke (talk) 22:00, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

He has notability for activities that have taken place in both countries. Also he is American by birth and he is Mexican due to his father being Mexican. Gets listed as Mexican and American mostly due to the dual notability. See MOS:CONTEXTBIO. Mexican-American is an ethnicity description, referring to an American with any sort of Mexican ancestry, and downplays the notable activities he has done in Mexico.
