Please elaborate this sentence:

"Contrary to many spiritually-oriented shows, many themes have been directed with an orthodox Biblical approach, for instance: hell, homosexuality, pre-marital sex, racism, creationism and intelligent design, among others."

Please give examples or explain the nature of "orthodox Biblical approach." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chevrox (talkcontribs) 15:43, January 15, 2007

I believe, when the above writer says "orthodox biblical approach", they are referring to generally accepted biblical interpretations, on the subjects that they have listed. Unfortunately, general opinion has change on many subjects. For instance, many people believe that it is OK to experiment with sex, as long as you take precautions. 50 years ago, a woman who had premarital sex was labeled a tramp, or worse. And in Christ time, they were even stoned to death. Homosexuals were treated even worse. Hell, though believed in, was never discussed, except by preachers, and only in church. Racism, though not as bad as in the past, is still very much a problem. Creationism and intelligent design, as always, is subject to individual personal opinion, and depends on whether an individual believes in the bible. The writers appearantly do, as do many viewers, as is evidenced by the popularity of the show. This writer likes the show very much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eagleone 01 (talkcontribs) 19:32, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Work Stoppage

Some mention might be made about the tantrum Della Reese threw when she was not given a salary increase, the explanation being that the producers had allowed her alot of time off for her ministry work and viewed that as in lieu of money. She later resorted to virtual blackmail using the race card in interviews. I believe there was a lawsuit. RoyBatty42 07:26, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Episodes?

Is there a separate article for a list of episodes? I can't find a link to it. Ospinad 20:13, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

School Blown up?

I've seen that episode, and the school is blown up because of a faulty boiler, not the devil. God was there that day to take the children into heaven, it was an accident, not intent, and although I can't recall, I don't remember the prosecutor being the devil. {24.77.248.68 (talk) 05:11, 26 August 2008 (UTC)}

Near the end of the episode, the scene just before the explosion is recalled by Joey (played by Paul Wittenburg). It shows someone with the same appearance as the prosecutor encouraging Joey
to turn a valve on the boiler, in order to provide more heat for his basket of kittens. Immediately after Joey opens the valve, the other person disappears. Also, there is a point in the
episode where Monica makes the statement that "Satan is real, and he is here." So, while the faulty boiler was what exploded, the inferred meaning is that Joey was encouraged to
turn that valve by Satan. Steggall 12:25 27 August 2008 (UTC)
