Added info on Tucker's Academics, AP and IB Programs, notable alumni (Dwight Phillips and Patrick Pass), student population (in overview section), Partners in Education, and words to the Alma Mater. Sports Awards are under awards and recognition section. Also reformatted the page and added headers and sub-headers to give it a cleaner look. Asbestos?[edit]

Anyone have a source on the asbestos claim? The person who added that vandalized the Talk page so I see it as suspect.Akubhai 14:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The asbestos was something that resurfaced in the papers. It had been taken care of years ago, so there is no need to worry. It had been sealed off and left untouched in the school vents. Tucker High School Marching Tiger Band, Jazz and Concert Band[edit]

Tucker high school band has received a band director as of the school year 2009-2010. The new director Mr.Blake Gaines has made some changes to the band that in the next few years will be beneficial to the band. Mr. Gaines attended Southern University and Jackson State The band's 80 or more members have grown scene they had about 40 members. The band and its school is hoping to get new uniforms in the year.
