Change the result of the Conor McGregor fight from TKO (doctor stoppage) to TKO (leg injury) A doctor didn't stop the fight, even if Conor wanted one to. It should go in the history books as TKO (leg injury) as this is the facts of what happened. TheLastSnow2 (talk) 13:12, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Source refers to it as a doctor stoppage. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:28, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion about fight results[edit]

 Discussion ongoing...
at Talk:Conor McGregor#Dispute about fight results for UFC 257 & UFC 264 (Copied from DRN) ––FORMALDUDE(talk) 07:47, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Summary: According to WP:WP MMA "unless sources within the body text of the article state otherwise, always use the result that is available in a fighter's record at Sherdog Fight Finder." Multiple sources in this article list the outcome of the fight as "TKO (doctor stoppage due to leg injury)". That takes precedent over what it says on Sherdog. ––FORMALDUDE(talk) 07:55, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Working Consensus: Per Talk:Conor McGregor#Discussion we are currently listing the method for this fight as "TKO (doctor stoppage)". If you would like to contest this please comment here before making a change to the article. ––FORMALDUDE(talk) 10:17, 17 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
