Anon's synopsis[edit]

Anon, I restored the old synopsis. It did leave out a great many plot details but ... it was readable. The purpose of a synopsis is to let a reader know if he or she might be interested in the film. No one wants to read about a movie he or she hasn't seen, IN DETAIL. It's like being backed into a corner by your boring uncle who insists on telling you every detail of his recent trip to Kolkata. I don't want to discourage you from working on Indian cinema -- there are so many movies, and actors, and music directors, etc., who deserve articles, or better articles -- but just be careful with the synopses. Anon, PLEASE[edit]

Anon, that long synopsis is of interest to no one but yourself. Consider: if you haven't seen the movie, hearing all the plot details is boring. If you have seen the movie, you don't need the details. They're BORING.

A synopsis must be short and readable. Its main use is for the encyclopedia user who is trying to decide whether or not to rent a film, or perhaps for someone who just wants to get a notion of what kind of films Rekha made. Incorrect link to Khayyam[edit]

The link under the awards and recognitions section should be to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_Zahur_Khayyam, and not to Omar Khayyam.
