Sources[edit]

The following material is unsourced

  • Erik Betts (Panther) couldn't appear in season 2 due to a severe injury (broken hip) so his character was written out implying he was taken out by Jukido, according to Tracer. Bridgett Riley (Baby Doll) left the show to pursue a female boxing career; she appeared once in Season 2 where she lost a preliminary match to Sophia Crawford (Chameleon).
  • Lynnette Love (Tarantula), Herb Perez (Olympus) and Rey-Phillip Santos were a part of the Tae Kwon Do US Olympic Team.
  • Christine Rodrigues (Lady Lightning) is the only one to change her costume. Her season 1 uniform was purple, while her season 2 uniform was black and gold; she revealed the new look in the season 2 episode "Ladies' Night". However, Sophia Crawford's (Chameleon) costume changed color during her matches. "Color Change" would be pronounced and Crawford would pop up with a different color uniform (alternating between green, blue and pink); her uniform represented the fact that actual chameleons do change color.
  • Three new masters were to be introduced. Pedro Xavier as 'Axeman', Clayton Barber as 'Hollywood' and Rey-Phillip Santos as 'Reign'. Unfortunately this never happened because of the show being cancelled.

While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source. Also, none of this is really trivia, as trivia by its definition is "unimportant information" - it therefore shouldn't be in a trivia section but instead the information should be incorporated into the main article. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 05:04, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I really think that this pieces of information are very interesting and it's worth to be inputed on the main article. As a fan, a really thank for this "non-trivia but triva-like" content! - FabioSilenoz

Trivia-like info[edit]

One fact that I think it will serve as a Trivia it's the fact that here in Brazil - in the dubbed version in portuguese -, the name of the criminal martial-artists organization "Jukido" was transformed into "Shakiro". This kind of modifications are quite normal on portuguese dubs, for some foreing names woud have a strange/funny spelled form, witch coud cause that character/movement/show to not make success among it's targeting audience. By the way, I think "Jukido" sounds kind of lame... "Shakiro" adds much more punch as a name. Hope I could help with something interesting! And even tough I can't give any relliable souce for this info (I have searched, but here in Brazil the series was not that sucessfull, unfortunally), you guys can just leave it here in Discussion - just as an extra. Cheers! - FabioSilenoz —Preceding undated comment added 11:53, 31 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Suspect Vandalism[edit]

I have noticed that in the topic witch depicts the martial-art of each master, there is something wrong. Some character named "The Rat", who supposed to fight Judo... this look`s like a vandalism to me. Or am I wrong? - FabioSilenoz

Hello, This is not false information. In the same episode in which Taimak (Striking Eagle) appears, you can see 'The Rat' fighting Hakim (Machine) Alston. The Rat is a banned fighter and nothing else is known about him. But his face, suit and name are mentioned and shown. Regards, johan.aders

Slow and steady clean up[edit]

Hello anyone who happens to be reading this. I put out a book on the show this past year after interviewing nearly all of the cast and major crew. I'll be undertaking a massive clean up and myth busting on this article, which I have just started. I don't want to be seen as just plugging my work, so I'm hesitant to start adding myself as a reference straight away, but I'd be happy to provide bona fides if need be. Looking forward to any help and/or questions! --WMACMastersBook (talk) 22:59, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
