Manufacturer[edit]

I'm not sure Spangler were the company that originally produced these. From what I've read they seem to have been the US distributor/producer for Chupa Chups. On this image you can see Chupa Chups have produced them in the 1980s and I think several companies produced them before that: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jasonliebigstuff/6876102864/

According to the photo blurb they were originally produced by a company called 'Peter Paul' who then sold them to Keebler and finally Chupa Chups.
