Editing request[edit]

Further organization of the subheadings and some elaboration under "Biography" (which should maybe change to "Life and career"?) would be much appreciated. Furthermore, any shuffling of the sources under "Notes" and "References" would definitely clean up the look of the article and validate the content. Thanks! Thanks for your comment but an edit request should include exactly what you want changed and should include sources for that change. I'll keep this watched for any suggested improvements you have. Ryan Vesey Review me! 19:02, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Ryan. Under "Biography" (yes, "Life and career" might be better as a header there), I was hoping to elaborate on Willis's style and the situation of his art among other trends of the later twentieth century, so as to give a clearer sense of his way of working beyond the "abstraction" and "Eastern philosophy" aspects. The ArtForum article by David Frankel discusses some of this, and I know that the Span article by Linda Johnson also gets into his artistic development, if it can be found in a database someplace. Do you have any suggestions (or pages to reach out to) about how to streamline the references and links for this page? I appreciate your assistance. Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because sections on Willis's life and accomplishments will be compiled shortly from the available references, which have indicated that his work is of some significance to abstract and "outsider" art spheres.
