Pictures[edit]

Hey guys! I'm the unknown editor of the current version of the Winnie Harlow page. I was wondering if any of you guys could upload a picture of Winnie Harlow, since I'm not yet a confirmed account yet since I just made one. That's the only thing that was missing from the current version, so I hope you guys could upload a picture for her. - FurryIcicles.

Hi, to put a picture on the article, you have to upload one with free rights to commons. MirandaKeurr (talk) 15:51, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Article name change[edit]

I think you should change the name to Chantelle Winnie or Chantelle Brown-Young, since she's much more known as that rather than Winnie Harlow, in my beliefs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.51.235.199 (talk) 11:27, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree on that. Mainly all articles address her whether upon her real name or Chantelle Winnie. --L7starlight (talk) 09:55, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds a bit like a promo at times[edit]

Wouldn't be surprised if there was a conflict of interest here. 2601:241:0:EA46:112:272F:30F2:AA0D (talk) 23:41, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? Don't make baseless or speculative charges. -- Jibal (talk) 07:06, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest Modifying the 2018 Canadian GP content[edit]

It seems to me that this page was somewhat hijacked by an editorial on the 2018 Canadian GP "Checkered Flag" Error.

Miss Brown-Young was invited to wave the "Checkered Flag" at the end of the race by an unidentified officer of either the circuit or by the FIA. The official timer of the race informed the finish line tower that it was time to wave the flag the next time the eventual race winner Sebastian Vettel passed the tower. The FIA official in the tower instructed Miss Brown-Young to wave the flag, and she complied, on what turned out to be the end of the 69th lap, and not the official end of the race, which should have have been the end of the next lap. The FIA officials were at fault for giving the wrong instructions to Miss Brown-Young.

I think that the article should be edited to simply mention that she asked to waive the flag, that she was given the wrong instructions, and she complied, the wrong instructions caused some race confusion, and then reference the article on the 2018 Canadian GP.

From Article:

2018 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix At the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix, Harlow was selected[how?][by whom?] to wave the chequered flag, signifying the end of the race.[24] Harlow waved the flag on what should have been the penultimate lap of the race, and as a result of application of the Formula One sporting regulations, the final result was declared based on the positions at the end of lap 68 (i.e., the official race distance was shortened by two laps from the scheduled distance of 70 laps). The error by the race officials, having instructed her to wave the flag, did not seriously impact the race result (although 13th- and 14th-placed drivers were switched), but it resulted in extra risks of injury taken by drivers and marshals around the track, as the race leader Sebastian Vettel as well as other drivers maintained racing speed after the chequered flag was shown, during what was considered by the track marshals and other personnel to be the slow-down lap when they traditionally emerge on track from behind safety barriers. The incident also led Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo to lose the fastest lap of the race to teammate Max Verstappen.[24] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gretschbang (talkcontribs) 18:47, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show[edit]

Winnie was in the 2018 show and there should be a section about this. Chameleon. (talk) 03:52, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
