Toro Soccer Club/NE Youth Soccer- My grandpa started this youth soccer club in Omaha, Nebraska so I would like to write a page about the club. For a broader topic I could write about all youth soccer clubs in Nebraska. Soccer is a growing sport there and many people could appreciate a factual account of the club, rather than the biased information provided on any websites. Once this page is up, it could also inspire other editors to add pages about other soccer clubs around the nation.

I think writing a page or more about the toro soccer club is a good idea since someone in your family started it. I do not know anything about toro soccer clubs but I would like to learn about it since soccer is my favorite sport. Maybe there are people like me who have not heard of toro soccer clubs so it would be interesting to read about it. Looking forward to reading your page.

Annie, I think those sound like really interesting topics! Writing about flower girls might be one of the most challenging, as it's the most broad topic. I have the feeling that it might be a bit difficult to find new information to add. Any page could always use rewriting and clarification though! Writing about the soccer club that your grandpa started would be amazing! The only challenge might be finding other sources to reference your information. Hope it all goes well for you, and I bet these articles are going to be great! RumbleofThunder (talk) 01:27, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

Not to be a naysayer, but do remember the need for outside verification and the Wikipedia rule against advertising/conflicts of interest. Being related to the founder of the club might lead you to evaluate the notability more generously than the wider community of WIkipedia editors. Therefore, you might have to spend some of your time and energy defending your article from these predictable attacks. Daclausen (talk) 16:45, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
