Experimenting with possible table for recording songs from the Simpsons, eventually to replace the lists on List of songs featured in The Simpsons.
I see this as a number of tables in different groups:
- Background music
- Pre-existing songs sung/played by cast
- Original songs
- Parody songs
Any other groups or subgroups?
Beyond that, there's a key question of whether the most useful ordering of data is by song name, episode name or artist name. I'd like to have multiple tables (auto-generated!) but that might be a bit extreme.
I'd also like to have a clever 'template' that we could put onto an episode page and it would transmogrify into the subset of the big song table that's in that episode. Probably not possible with wiki :-(

First row in table created with template SimpsonSongTableByCast and second with SimpsonSongTableByLinked which affects the 'performer' column. Third is SimpsonSongTable2ComposersByCast due to having 2 composers.
