This is the user page of Wim van Dam.

I am a professor at the departments of computer science and physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. My academic research focuses on the theory of quantum computation and quantum information. Almost all of my contributions to Wikipedia concern topics that are relevant to my research. Part of this work has been made possible by an NSF grant.
