Translation of the name Winnemucca[edit]

As stated on the page "The town was named for the 19th-century Chief Winnemucca of the local Northern Paiute tribe, who traditionally lived in this area. Winnemucca, loosely translated, means "one moccasin." This is partially true and there is no citation provided for the translation of one moccasin. I propose the following change Winnemucca, loosely translated, means "the giver" , Reference Zanjani, Sally (2001). "Sarah Winnemucca". University of Nebraska Press.
