Misrepresenting sources[edit]

Please do not misrepresent sources, as you did in this edit. Variety Insight does not say that The Emoji Movie is a Columbia co-production; in fact, it says that this is a co-production between Sony Pictures Animation and LStar Capital (link). Citations are not a decorative element you add to your edit to make it look more believable. I don't know where you're getting your information from, but it wasn't from the source cited.   • If you truly don't understand what a citation is, let me try to explain. Wikipedia is based on what reliable sources say, not what we believe to be true. This includes watching a trailer, which is a primary source, and then, through guesswork, determining what the production companies and distributors for a film are. Based on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Film#Sourcing for production companies and {{infobox film}}, we do not use trailers or posters for this information when there is a reliable source for it. In this case, we have a citation to Variety Insight, which is curated by the film trade magazine Variety. Please do not remove citations from articles or just copy existing citations into your own edits. This is disruptive and can get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. I had assumed that you knew this already, but perhaps you didn't. Please, stop adding unsourced content, and just go by the sources. When sources are provided in an article, do not remove them simply because you disagree with them. If you need help understanding this, you can post to WikiProject Film, and we will try to help you. Animation in 2001, but I could find nothing for the specific date you provided. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day.
