Excellent news - I'm very happy to adopt you. Welcome to this amazing place. Joining the Cold War Wikiproject is dead easy, just add your name to the bottom of the list of members here Wikipedia:WikiProject Cold War#Members and you're in. You can also add one of the Cold war project userbox templates to your Userpage if you like. The Cold War project is pretty quiet at the moment - most of the regulars seem to be doing other things. I've been helping out a little (I'm interested in history generally) as there was a backlog of article assessments to be done. Recently, I worked on Z-Division a small Cold War article on a obscure piece of recent history. The division has an interesting history and needs to be expanded more if you are interested. Otherwise I mostly work on Cambodian articles - that's my particular fascination. Anyway, have a look around, think about what you would like to do and feel free to ask me any questions you have.
