Degrassi:The Next Generation[edit]

Hey Alucard16 welcome to wikipedia I just wanted to explain why I reverted your edits on Degrassi:The Next Generation because censorship is not a pronoun please see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization). This is a good example of why you don't capitilize censorship, look at the Google page and if you look at some of the section titles such as "Products and services", "Corporate culture", and "Google partnerships" you notice that only the first letter of the first word is capitlized because that is the convertion form we use here so censorship in "United States censorship" should not be capitilized. Secondly I reverted the citation needed because statement "The subploit of 'Accidents Will Happen' was broadcasted on The-N website as 'webexclusives"" citation should not be TV.com because it has already been discussed that the episode exists but did not aired. The citation should be to The-N's website where the location of the webexculsive exists. Thank you for your contributions SirGrant 23:15, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WCHS-TV[edit]

I am not sure about WCHS, but I know in other cases (like with Norfolk's WTVZ), most Sinclair stations dropped The Tube. There was an article on VARTV.com about it. - SVRTVDude 19:38, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

America's Player[edit]

It is implied that the votes will not count since America is technically deciding who is evicted. Geoking66talk 02:33, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

America gets one vote in the house, Eric's vote. The rest of the house gets to make their own choice and who has the most votes from the housemates is evicted. America only gets to decide who Eric votes for. Unlike international Big Brother where the public votes to evict, the American one is housemates evict housemates. There has not been voting by the public since Season 1. I hope this makes sense. In season 8 America controls America's Player and no one else. America gets only Eric's vote this week. The rest of the house makes the call, not America. Alucard 16 02:38, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question RE: Veto symbol[edit]

Hello. I see that you put the veto symbol back until Thursday. I am not saying you are wrong, but just asking: Wouldn't we take it off when the veto ceremony is over, since now, nobody actually holds the veto power and its just back in the little box (not hanging on the wall)? - Rjd0060 21:31, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • And, I'm not the one who put it back. - Rjd0060 21:31, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want to add a discussion to the talk page about this...Just to clarify? - Rjd0060 21:36, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Brother 2.[edit]

There should be protection there, some idiot anonymous user deleted all of the information. However, Big Brother 2 (US) uses the term "Houseguests" rather than "Housemates", Housemates is in reference to Big Brother (UK). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Melanie2408 (talkcontribs).

Who is the house wanting to evict Amber or Zack. Seth71 05:42, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have no clue I haven't been watching the live feeds since they were nominated ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 05:59, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you see that there would be a double-live eviction on 9/6? Not saying you're wrong, just hadn't seen this posted anywhere yet.supremegoddessofall 01:14, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good job on sorting out the table etc. I don't actually watch the series, I was more hoping that by creating the article, those who do would be able to update it. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case so I've been updating it from the website, maybe if you could alert other members of WP:BIGBRO so it'd be a collective effort rather than just me! I'll consider joining the WikiProject, although I'd say I'm more of a follower of the articles than a regular editor. Thanks for the suggestion, though :) Seaserpent85Talk 11:20, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Brother citation[edit]

Not sure if you saw this on the Talk page but apparently the big citation for that whole FCC thing is this cbs message board. Yeah, right! I got a kick out of that one. - Rjd0060 03:04, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PoV page[edit]

You probably know by now that Power of Veto (Big Brother) is nominated for deletion. So far, there are 3 votes to delete and none to keep. Honestly, I think this page is kind of pointless. It will probably be deleted. You can keep see the deletion discussion on the PoV AFD Page. - Rjd0060 14:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well if it is deleted, we will have to just keep deleting the added trivia from the main article. I don't really see that it will be a big problem tho. Hopefully. I still dont think the page is necessary. The PoV is just one small element of the game. Not that I think there should be, but if we need a PoV page than why isnt there a HoH page, etc.. Do you see what I mean? - Rjd0060 19:12, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And, the majority of the info on the PoV page is just duplicate from the individual seasons pages. So, removing the trivia, and removing the 2 tables (PoV wins and PoV saves), the rest of the info (that isn't already) could easily just be incorporated into the main BB article and/or into a BB season article. - Rjd0060 19:20, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dont hate me for voting to delete. - Rjd0060 19:24, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this and this edit, please could you reword your messages about the above mentioned page to be more neutral (i.e. not persuade people to take a particular viewpoint). The reason I am asking is because this kind of message can be frowned upon and may cause a result to the AfD that does not reflect a true consensus. Tra (Talk) 18:31, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Brother Nick[edit]

On the Big Brother 8 feeds, Nick revealed during one hottub conversation with Joe that he has had past homosexual experiences. Just wondering if this isn't relevant to add to his profile on the Big Brother 8 page, since all kinds of other minutiae gets put there. And no, I'm not a troll, I am posting this from outside my editorship in order to avoid any homophobic nastiness that comes as a result of this question. 206.218.218.57 20:27, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not entirely sure you should ask this question on the Big Brother 8 (US) talk page to see. Hope that helps. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 21:11, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Strategies[edit]

Excuse me, but the Big Brother Strategies section is needed. It is the most important element of the entire game. And the strategies I put there are constantly referenced by the houseguests throughout each season. You cannot have a page that is supposedly devoted to Big Brother that doesn't cover such integral things as floating, backdooring, alliances, etc. It is a major component and worthy of its own section. It took me a really long time to create and I don't think it should be deleted because one person, you, decided so. Start a discussion page about it. Don't just delete the work that took me so long to do. --Teehee11 02:27, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to your message[edit]

It cannot be encyclopedic. There are no references. There is nothing written on the subject. I used my knowledge of the game to write it. Listing the people who have used them was my attempt to include stats to the subject. I think chart form is the easiest way to illustrate it. I would ask that you leave it and we see what others think on the matter. I do realize there may be grammar/spelling mistakes here and there, but I was going to go back and clean it up. I think it's a valuable topic and shouldn't be deleted. (BTW, I hope I am using these talk pages correctly and I hope you find this message.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Teehee11 (talkcontribs) 02:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:[edit]

Well I would like to use the information that's there already rather than just get rid of it all. I took it upon myself to add something that I think should've been there from the beginning because it is such a vital component of the game, and I would rather collaborate on it than have people just erase my work. I was going to add more strategies too. --Teehee11 02:52, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Why did you remove what I wrote in the live feeds section. It is true -- the feeds are cut when HGs discuss the DR or production. There was no reason to erase that.

I have the live feeds. I know what I am talking about and wouldn't put anything that wasn't true. Maybe you should ask before deciding to delete everything I write just because I'm new to Wikipedia. A fair shot would be nice. Thanks. --Teehee11 02:59, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BB Archives[edit]

I just glanced at the History page for the BB8 Talk Page and WOW. Archive 2 had a whole bunch of edits after the archive. I just restored the original version from the archive date. People keep updating a voting table that is in there. Check out that history page. Personally, I've had enough of ScottAHudson (he is one of the main people who keep changing it). Since Aug 26, I've left 7 warning templates on his talk page for a variety of things. Other people have left some too. He has even been blocked. I dont know about some people! Anyways, just thought I would let you know and that way maybe you can glance at the archives every once in a while and restore original versions. - Rjd0060 14:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Make that 8 warnings that I added to his page. I just slapped a notice on about 6 people or so who have edited it in the last 11 days. Do you think I'm being to hard on these people? - Rjd0060 15:05, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I added them to my watch also. Yes I've seen all the subpages and let me tell you I got an itchy trigger finger and I would love to put MFD tags on EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. But I wont. - Rjd0060 15:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
