Hello ApprenticeFan, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Year One (joke) - a page you tagged - because: it might have been invented in a YouTube show but that does not make it "incorrect and obvious misinformation", but rather stuff made up one day. Editing Question for WFN Strategies

Hi ApprenticeFan, I was wondering if the edits I made to the company's article would be enough to make it acceptable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clairearnos (talkcontribs) 14:14, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/West Virginia AFL-CIO

The article West Virginia AFL-CIO has been expanded with additional references. You may wish to revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/West Virginia AFL-CIO. -- Eastmain (talk) 00:46, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Aminat Ayinde requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 10:40, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Aminat Ayinde, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aminat Ayinde. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 11:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Aminat Ayinde

Did you consider bulk AfDing all the 3rd place finishers. It appears that some seasons have articles about the third place finisher. Cheers. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 11:47, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Because, most 3rd placers are not notable due to losing from a modeling competition. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 12:03, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
I really don't have any opinion as to her notability or not. I just wondered why you didn't include other third placed contestants, some of whom are no more notable than Ayinde. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 14:21, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
(my 2 pence as a WP:TPS) Joining too many would be problematic as some are actually notable for other stuff, e.g. spokesperson for some disorder. However, I agree that all second place and lower finishers with individual pages should be carefully audited and nominated if necessary. Plastikspork (talk) 16:55, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

OK, no problemo. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 13:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
