Your opinion of AI on Wikipedia?[edit]

It looks like you’ve been editing on Wikipedia for a while. Welcome! I’m a researcher working on Wikipedia algorithms and artificial intelligences (AIs). Maybe it seems a little random to hear from someone like me…if you’ve only been here for a little while, why would we care about your opinion?
You may or may not be aware of them, but the algorithms that operate on Wikipedia affect new editors like you in very important ways. Even if you’ve only made a few edits, we really need to understand how you feel about your initial experiences -- good or bad -- so that we can make sure that the AIs we build in the future do what users like you want them to do.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
At this point, consensus supports the change of the number of Pro Bowl/All Pro selections in this (and other) NFL season pages to at least four, as a way to reduce the length of very long pages and to make this list more exclusive as more players are selected to the Pro Bowl in a given year. You have ignored the discussion for over a week, and then finally added a baseless argument. Please stop your unconstructive editing or I will report your (and my) editing to the administrators' noticeboard (where my editing has followed the general rule of the bold, revert, discuss cycle and yours has been imposing your will on an article despite multiple editors disagreeing with you).
