April 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 11:16, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Indic script[edit]

Please do NOT add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at Andhra Pradesh, as this contravenes WP:INDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 10:36, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at N. Chandrababu Naidu. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
It was explained that you should NOT add Indic script in the above notice, but you have continued to do so on several articles, which is disruptive eiting - Arjayay (talk) 10:32, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically E. S. L. Narasimhan, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:31, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indic script - again[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Guntur, you may be blocked from editing.
You have already been warned twice, not to add Indic script to our articles, but continue to do so. Please stop before you are blocked - Arjayay (talk) 14:51, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Jagan mohan reddy.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jagan mohan reddy.jpeg, which you've attributed to https://twitter.com/ysjagan. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 16:20, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:James May Our Man in Italy.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:James May Our Man in Italy.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:50, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

October 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ok123l. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks.
Note: According to MOS:INDELECT, margin of error is required for a poll to be displayed on Wikipedia as polls without it are misleading. Ok123l (talk) 14:49, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Margin of error was not provided for the opinion polls of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, Indian election opinion polls rarely provide MOE & Sample size, how can we conclude that they are misleading? Gopuvivek (talk) 14:58, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
