Conflict of interest[edit]

Hi Hepperle. You created and edited the article on Ramaa Mosley and based on this dif and this image file you appear to be in direct communication with the subject of this article. You also added a great deal of unsourced/promotional content to Alexandra Penney ‎ in this dif. You currently appear to be working on an article about Jonathan Fernandez. You also created the article on RESH which includes an image file you obtained from the subject of that article. Your most recent edit was working on a draft article that has been rejected.

You appear to be acting as a paid editor, and you have not disclosed that. I am providing you with formal notice of our COI guideline and the Terms of Use that govern your use of Wikipedia, and will have some comments and questions for you below.

Information icon Hello, Hepperle. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Comments/questions[edit]

Wikipedia is a scholarly project, and like all scholarly endeavors, managing conflict of interest is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it.

Briefly, conflict of interest is managed in Wikipedia in two steps: disclosure of the conflict, and offering edits on the Talk page for others to review instead of directly editing the article.

Please disclose the nature of your relationship with each of Ramaa Mosley, Alexandra Penney, Jonathan Fernandez, RESH, the Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation, and/or people who work for them. Please note that if you are editing for any kind of consideration, you must disclose that.

We can discuss other ways that COI is managed in Wikipedia when you reply. Please note that paid editing is allowed in Wikipedia and if you are editing for pay, the situation is salvageable. You can reply here - I am watching this page. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 16:29, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

this makes no sense and is not accurate. You have actively edited pages yourself, directly. Please make the required disclosure in a way that makes sense and is accurate. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 13:05, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article RESH (entertainer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
