Orphaned non-free media (Image:Swarovski 2007.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Swarovski 2007.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:32, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Better In Time shoot.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Better In Time shoot.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Your recent edits to Eros Ramazzotti[edit]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Eros Ramazzotti. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Before making such controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page.If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. April 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Mariah Carey appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. We appriciate your efforts to contribute to Wikipedia and hope you can do so again in the future :). Just remember we have a few policies.-Sphefx (talk) 12:38, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Madonna[edit]

You are not allowed to us other wikipedia articles as sources, also what you are adding to the lead is completely unnessary anyway. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 19:20, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

United World Chart[edit]

Hi there, please do not add UWC to music or song articles. This has been determined to be non-legit/non-notable per consensus at AfD. You can see more at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/United World Chart. Thanks. - eo (talk) 14:38, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding the United World Chart, you have already been told by an admin to stop. — Realist2 15:52, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:SoberPinkCoverFunhouse.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SoberPinkCoverFunhouse.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 19:28, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

United World Chart[edit]

Please do not add the United World Chart (www.mediatraffic.de) or any other chart listed at WP:BADCHARTS to any Wikipedia article. Thanks.—Kww(talk) 00:20, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Summaries[edit]

Please always use edit summaries when editing a page, as you did on Lady Gaga; you will help us make a better article when you tell us what you change (as opposed to having to do it manually.) Thank you! tommy talk 15:22, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

July 2010[edit]

Hi - Please remember to cite a source for any changes you make in an article, and to explain what you are doing in the edit summary. An unexplained and unsourced change, such as the one you recently made in Lady Gaga, could be interpreted as an attempt to introduce subtle errors, which in turn might be misconstrued as "sneaky vandalism" (see Page blanking#Types of vandalism). Your change was reversed by another editor. So once again, please don't make such factual changes to an article without explaining them, and verifying them with reliable source material. See WP:VERIFY. Thanks! DoctorJoeE (talk) 14:46, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to 4 (Beyoncé Knowles album). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Adabow (talk · contribs) 09:35, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Confessions (Usher album), but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 22:39, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 20:54, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. Information icon Hello, I'm Sennecaster. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Halle Berry, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sennecaster (What now?) 15:51, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
