Hi, I thought you might be interested that by happenstance, based on a question from another user, I came across a 2008 paper by Danin which was written long after Antonoci's book and added that. Danin has since compared the black and white photos to UV images and reported on them. I think that is a good example of how we can add references to Wikipedia - by finding new, recent facts. I would like to encourage you to watch that page and contribute to Wikipedia, for I followed up on the Danin paper, only because you had brought it up. So your efforts paid off in the end. Cheers. Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Shroud[edit]

Hi, I did not remove the material you added, another user did. As you can see there are multiple people active on that page. I am busy with another article right now, but you can discuss that with the user who reverted your addition. Cheers History2007 (talk) 16:26, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Shroud of Turin are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Backlash[edit]

Jim, I think as the recent comments show, your insistence on the issues you see as valid is generating backlash against those views from multiple editors. So from your own point of view, the high level of insistence may set your own view back. May I suggest a softer approach. That type of "push" in Wikipedia generates talk page comments, takes up effort, and in the end just backfires. Thanks. History2007 (talk) 04:35, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2012[edit]

Please stop using talk pages such as Shroud of Turin for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you.
