God[edit]

The advice you were given here is still valid a year later. And I would add to it this: you say the term is "now being used by certain panentheists … writing on the internet". I note that two of these posters are RevLGK and Revlgking both names bearing a strange similarity to your user name here. So your GØD article is now and is likely to remain original research which is not allowed here. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 14:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You did not provide explicit links into brainmeta.com where you have a split personality for some reason: Lindsay and TheRevLGK. Here is your page at flfcanada. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 01:27, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Dr. Michio Kaku[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dr. Michio Kaku, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 18:48, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi -- Wikipedia articles have to be based on published sources. You can't write an article about a concept you have personally invented. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 21:23, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have felt it necessary to nominate this article for deletion, as I don't believe it is appropriate for an encyclopedia. Feel free to comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spirit, Mind & Body. Looie496 (talk) 01:45, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TheRevLindsayKing here: I respect you judgement. Do what you feel is helpful to all.

Hello, Lindsay G. King. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid, or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. — Nahum Reduta [talk|contribs] 05:07, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Max Semenik (talk) 16:25, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
