MXC / Takeshi's Castle
I see you reverted my insertion of the Japanese actor in MXC. I submit that this is analogous to Darth Vader where both James Earl Jones and David Prowse are credited, one being the voice and the other being the embodiment of the role. When we see Captain Tenneal, we are looking at Takeshi Kitano and hearing John Cervenka. --rogerd 21:53, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- A better comparison would be the Power Rangers. On those shows, you don't credit the individual actors from the Super Sentai series, from where the fighting scenes came from. Mshake3 23:32, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll have to admit that I have never seen either of those shows you refer to and know nothing about them. I was a 37 years old when Power Rangers started airing in 1993 (I had to go to the article you referenced to find that out). I always thought that was a cartoon show, apparently not. Whatever, it isn't a big deal if we include the actor's names or not. I just thought it would be interesting to know who the actors that embody the characters are. --rogerd 23:59, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Super Sentai is to the Power Rangers series' as Takeshi's Castle is to MXC. The former is the source footage for the later. More or less, the actors from the source footage aren't important when it comes to the American show (no disrespect intended). If they wanted to know who the original actors are, they can look at the Takeshi's Castle page, which is linked in the very first sentence of the MXC article. Now, MXC is different than the Power Rangers because MXC is 99% Takeshi's Castle, while the Power Rangers is ~35% Super Sentai. Since MXC relies so much on the actors from TC, I can see the reason to include their names in the character section. At the same time, I find it redudent to include their names twice in two articles (for the record, the TC article has the MXC character names in it's character section, but that was from when MXC was a subsection of TC. Personally, I want those removed). I'll willing to start up a vote and getting other opinions on this. Mshake3 00:22, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

WCW
Maybe you are right, i'm not sure. Reviews of the 2001 events all call it WCW World Heavyweight Championship. It would help if the VHS copies were easy to get (since I don't think WWE had started releasing DVD's yet). TJ Spyke 02:18, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- First of all. No. Video boxart is never a reliable source. Second. It is metioned that Jericho is the final champion. And Thrid.
