Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

My name is Sonia, and I'm one of the Online Ambassadors, a group of experienced Wikipedians who offer mentorship to newcomers. You don't need to read anything; you can just jump right in and try to improve Wikipedia. If you need help, you can talk with us right now or leave me a message on my user talk page.

Right now, your first step is to select a mentor from the table on your course page, and that person will help you through the process of working on your project and dealing with anything that pops up.

Here are some links that you may like to read through:

If you need any help or want extra opinions or ideas, do feel free to ask or email me. I'm also available if you would like to be mentored by me. Thanks for joining us, and happy editing! sonia 18:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note[edit]

Thanks for your work so far on Separate Spheres! Another user has commented on your additions on the talk page of the article, and you may find it worthwhile to take note of the comments. I made one minor tweak, here: Wikipedia doesn't use the <a href> formatting. Bare referencing, as we call the way you've added links, is fine, but there is a handy tool to generate complete references called the RefToolbar- I use it all the time, and you may like it too. To add it, go to "My preferences" and check the box next to "RefTools" in the "Gadgets" tab. Feel free to ask if you have any questions, and thanks again!
