This reference serves no purpose as it just repeats what is all ready there

Example 2 "KOR: 'x' ^[2] In this case 'x' is a number and 'y' is a certification. I removed this because it is overcomplex when all it needs to say is "GAON: 'y'" Note: 'GAON' is an acronym for the name of the South Korean chart company.

Yes, you have. You added a Spanish certification to Jess Glynne discography, but that page does not include Spanish chart peaks. Same with Jessie J discography—you added several certifications earned in countries for which chart peaks are not included in that page. Yes, that's what providing sources is about, though you hardly ever provide sources for the certifications you add. And the few times do, you use Wikipedia articles as references, which is a big no-no. Every time you post on a talk page, you should always add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment, and they will be replaced with your username and time stamp. I've noticed recently that you have been changing instances of IFPI SWE to "GFL". I don't know where you got the impression it was GFL from, but it's GLF. Adding uncredited artists[edit]

If an artist has chosen to not credit a singer or other artist on their song, this is their choice and does not make it correct to add a credit for them on Wikipedia. It is sufficient to point out on their article there are uncredited contributions, but actually citing them on discographies is improper. Ella Eyre originally released "Good Times" without an official credit to Sigma, so this should be reflected. Same with Clean Bandit and not crediting others on "Stronger". Citing iTunes pages where the artists may be credited does not mean they were upon release of the single.

Also, I just wanted to point out: it is spelt "contents", not "contence". Please also stop leaving the edit summary "fixed typo" when you change formatting for credits. A typo is a spelling or grammar mistake and does not apply to changing content. Ss 112 18:10, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Ss112: Firstly, "Contence" means exactly the same as "Contents". However I am British so I use "Contence". Secondly, The only reason I used "Fixed Typo" is because I fixed a typo after I made a mistake on my previous edit. I don't know what world you're living in, but "contence" is not a word. It's not even the British spelling of a word. Google it if you need to.

Most times you have written "fixed typo", you have not fixed what is actually a typo. A more accurate summary would be "changed formatting". You can't fool anyone; your edits are available for everyone to view.

Finally, what matters is that the artist chose not to officially credit anyone else when the song was released as a single. Who the later album release credits the song to is not the same thing. You adding in "(uncredited)" is trying to give an official credit to an artist when they weren't at the time. This really isn't up for debate. It's not standard Wikipedia practice otherwise it would be there already. They're credited on the song or album articles. That is enough. Ss 112 19:19, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I assume you have a significant problem with words, because you just used "juxtaposes" where you mean "contradicts". And no, I didn't contradict myself because I'm telling you that when singles are issued, who they are credited to differs from who that song might be credited to on an album later on. You adding "featuring Sigma" to Ella Eyre's song just because they listed themselves alongside her on their album does not mean she released that song crediting them...because she didn't. There is no English word "contence", either British or American. "Content" meaning "happy" is an adjective and as such does not have a plural. "Content" meaning "that which is contained" as you use it has a plural of "contents", not "contence". Read wikt:content. And also read definitions of "justapose" and "contradict"; they do not mean the same. And Ss112 is correct that you are leaving misleading edit summaries that you describe as "typos."
