If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Neverenough5/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. creffett (talk) 12:53, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Neverenough5. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Neverenough5|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:33, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:Jimfbleak, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. CptViraj (talk) 04:37, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More[edit]

Please read what I posted above.

  • You say you are an intern, but you don't say for what organisation.
  • What is ITPL?
  • Your references include the company website, Wikipedia, PR sites, company postings like Bloomberg and at least one that doesn't mention your company. Most of your sources are not adequate.
  • Yours is a classic company spam article with a bit of history plus "this is what we sell" plus "these are our awards". There is nothing on turnover or profits, no criticism, and the claimed awards don't appear to be significant enough to be linked with Wikipedia articles. Without real facts and proper sources, you can't meet our notability criteria.
  • Not a reason for deletion as such, but you have obvious not looked at WP:YFA. You have written in bullet points instead of sentences, capitalised at random, eg CHINA, Headquarters and Offices, and posted stuff like Enabling Change at the speed of thoughts

I'm not satisfied that you are being transparent with us about your status, but even if you are clearer about your role the article needs rewriting in proper prose with genuine independent third-party sources Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:58, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored an edited version at Draft:Fiorano Software. All the comments I made above still apply, so you will need to get on with it before someone else deletes it Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:44, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have repeatedly been warned about WP:COI but have refused to address this as far as I can see. I note over on File:Fiorano Logo.png, you claim to own the logo, meaning you have a very clear and direct conflict of interest. As you have been blatantly violating WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO and as you appear to be here solely to promote Fiorano Software, I have blocked you indefinitely. WP:GAB will help you understand how to request an unblock. You'll need to address your multiple violations, specifically state your relationship to Fiorano Software, and likely agree to a topic ban for all subject areas for which you have a conflict. --Yamla (talk) 13:07, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The previous reasons for WP:COI Have been cleared out earlier and about the logo File:Fiorano Logo.png as own work, yes it is edited not something which is self designed as far as direct conflict of interest is considered I have none it can be proved by other articles edited to which I had no direct or indirect relation other than knowledge based contribution, Relation with company was mentioned by user page but I haven't been paid even a single dime by the company to promote it, you may recheck the content it is in the most neutral tone not even a single service is neitherWP:PROMO promoted nor customers are boasted I request to calmly go through the case because the user account matters for future contributions this is not solely for promotional purpose

Decline reason:

This unblock appeal is so vague that it verges on incoherence. In order to be unblocked, you need to be specific and upfront about your relationship with Fiorano. Interns are regarded as paid editors on Wikipedia regardless of whether they are actually financially compensated for their edits. Yunshui  07:34, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The relation is of an intern without stipend since it is an experience based internship with fiorano for 2 months. This task of creating page was volunteered as I thought it may add up as an activity being a student intern But wikipedia "consider" should not be a reason to tag as paid editors based on perceptions and the block is applicable on the account itself from editing Any page or creating new page . Proof being the page or professional editors might have a quality content and I am constantly being blocked or the article is being deleted and so on because of lack of knowledge Instead of providing reasons everyone take direct actions so It is a request to provide what is required and I can present it.ThanksNeverenough5 (talk) 08:11, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Whether you receive money or not, you are a paid editor according to WP:PAID. Note that you have committed a WP:COPYRIGHT violation on File:Fiorano Logo.png; simply "editing" an image does not free you of copyright concerns. You will not be unblocked to write about Fiorano Software or anything else for which you have a conflict of interest. However, if you are willing to demonstrate an understanding of WP:COI and WP:PAID and WP:COPYRIGHT and tell us what you'll edit instead, we may consider unblocking you. You know how to write an unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 10:19, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly check my contribution history where you can find other than fiorano sofftware what have I and am interested in editing and if the image is ours we have WP:COI if image is edited it's violated so this quicksand of allegations won't stop you'd constantly bring up a minute reason to shut down this user account. It's alright keep it blocked I'm tired of it anyways.

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Volcanicsnow, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
