Belarus and request[edit]

I thank you for copyediting Belarus; it has been needing a lot of work. If you like to copyedit, may I ask if you wish to look over National Anthem of Russia. Thank you once again and welcome to Wikipedia. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 08:48, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Hello, Semmler - I see that you're a fairly new editor, so I'll go easy on you! :)

I just finished removing Category:Multiracial affairs as a parent category from several categories that you recently added it to, presumably because you had misconstrued the purpose of the category -- which is focused on multiracial personal relationships and NOT on inter-group relationships. I assume you just hadn't seen the contents of the category because you were using HotCat. It's always wise to take a look at a category to ascertain what it's actually being used for before adding it to articles or other categories. Good luck with your future editing! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
