Welcome![edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Stella Markantonatou, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might find helpful:

On your additions to Octopus, you'll note that at least two experienced editors have already indicated that the material does not fit in the article. Wikipedia has many cuisine articles, including Greek cuisine; no doubt we could have an article on Seafood cuisine if anyone felt like writing and citing it decently. Biology articles do, as you've seen, have brief sections on human interactions including things like fishing, but cuisine is a step further away from the biology, and would best be in a subsidiary article as I've indicated. Hope this is clear to you.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or place {{Help me}} on this page and someone will drop by to help. Again, welcome! Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:44, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to add that I'm sorry but the style of writing and much of the content is not actually encyclopedic. It is what I might expect in a tourist guide or cookbook, but too flowery and anecdotal for an encyclopedia. I also must ask if it is copied from somewhere or all your own work.
