Speedy deletion of "Christmas in Paradise"

A page you created, Christmas in Paradise, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Orphaned non-free image File:Jesse-Williams 240.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Jesse-Williams 240.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Katherine Heigl. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 05:25, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Callie Torres, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Frickative 13:53, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Regarding the edit you want:

  • Start a discussion on the talk page explaining the edit.
  • Wait for a consensus before making the edit you wish ("returning series" is used in the majority of television articles here, so a discussion is needed before you make your opinion your own edit).
  • Continuous mute-forcing the edit is at the least disruptive editing and edit warring. Continuing to do so may very likely result in you being blocked from editing.

MegastarLV (talk) 03:41, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

I do hope you realize you've been reverting as well so why don't you worry about being blocked and stop threatening me. TRLIJC18 (talk) 11:45, 4 August 2011 (ETC)

FYI, there's a discussion about whether to get rid of the status field entirely at Template talk:Infobox television. You may want to take a look at that as well. —C.Fred (talk) 03:49, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Thank you (talk), I think that's a good idea. I'll attempt that but (talk) will most likely change it. -TRLIJC18 03:51, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

No one is being threated here. This is Wikipedia's policy. Besides you started the edit, so you must explain it first. Start a discussion on the article's talk page before making your edit. Once a consensus has been reached in your favor, your edit will not be reverted. For the time being, your edit will be reverted until the consensus is reached. MegastarLV (talk) 03:58, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Grey's Anatomy. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.C.Fred (talk) 04:00, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:07, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Starring in the TV infobox (particularly on Grey's Anatomy)

In a TV series infobox the starring cast are listed in the order that they appear on the titles, the complete cast is always listed (rather than removing cast members who have left), and the seasons that the actors appeared in are not put after. As examples see the large boxes for Lost, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and True Blood; this stops the need for arguments over when members were "starring" rather than "special guest starring" or "guest starring", and lets readers know all the cast members. This is not a single article style issue, it applies to all TV articles, and some of those have reached GA or FA status so this style has been approved by a number of different editors across the whole Wikiproject. There is an alternate way to list cast members, see Smallville. This message is a preemptive message should you think about reverting my edit removing all the (season 1-3) tags. Darrenhusted (talk) 23:17, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

In reply to your revert

"Not all wikipedia pages have to be the same. How do you think a style of editing gets popular?" Unilateral editing does not change style guides, especially style guides that have been agreed on by a number of other editors. If you have a problem with it take it up on the talk page, or consult with the wikiproject. Darrenhusted (talk) 13:47, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

As indicated before, changes to established conventions - such as with your changes to the infobox - need to reach consensus first. Please do not restore the non-conforming formatting to the Grey's Anatomy infobox. --Ckatzchatspy 07:33, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Warning

Please do not game the system by reviewing your own GAN with a sockpuppet. This is considered deceptive and disruptive. I have blocked your sockpuppet account indefinitely and if this happens again, you should expect a block on this account. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:05, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

I can not begin to express how regretful I am. My Wikipedia was hacked by my friend who I'm fighting with. He has been trying to get me blocked for months and he found a way. He is the one whom wrote inappropriate messages and used sock puppetry. If there is any way you can understand the circumstance and revert the block, that would be incredibly appreciated. And don't worry, I've changed my password to prevent further hacking. TRLIJC18 (talk) 19:17, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Because you claim this account has been compromised, I have blocked it indefinitely. Please review WP:GOTHACKED for steps to take now. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:23, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry but I didn't really understand the WP:GOTHACKED and just to clear things up, I can't be unblocked even though I was hacked? TRLIJC18 (talk) 19:26, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
We have no way of knowing if you are the original owner of this account or the person who hacked into it and your only option is to create another account with a stronger password. Compromised accounts cannot be unblocked. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:28, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
So I lose all my 3 years of Wikipedia service because I was hacked? I wouldn't consider that right... TRLIJC18 (talk) 19:30, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
It is what it is. You should have had a stronger password. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:32, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
You said to make a new page, however it says I cannot when I try to? TRLIJC18 (talk) 19:36, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
I have lifted the autoblock on your IP, try again now. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:38, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Thank you. Can you please delete my TRLIJC18 user page?

Thank you for all your help. I'll be glad to collaborate with my new account TRLIJC19
