Audio files for UK monarchs[edit]

Hi again! I was just wondering if you've had any luck in finding audio files for UK monarchs from Queen Victoria onwards. I've had a look on YouTube and there is indeed audio available for Victoria, which would be public domain, though apparently not for Edward VII. George V, Edward VIII and George VI's voices would be in the public domain in the UK at least, and could possibly fall under Crown copyright, which applies worldwide. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 17:19, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Elizabeth II's voice from when she was queen in 1952 would also be in the UK public domain, and indeed from next year her voice from the year of her coronation, 1953, would be as well. Like with her three predecessors, this could also possibly fall under worldwide Crown copyright. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 17:21, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Yes, I've uploaded audio files of Edward VIII and George V per your request but can't find any for Edward VII. I looked into it and apparently there's no recordings of his voice known to exist. I did find a somewhat unintelligible recording from 1888 which is said to be of Victoria but the speaker can't be definitively identified and it's also been attributed to one of her ladies in waiting. The only other known recording of Victoria's voice is from 1898 but this was apparently ordered to be destroyed with its fate still unknown to this day.
On another note, could it be possible for you to add the files of George V and Edward VIII to their articles' infoboxes? I've tried to add them myself using the module parameter like in other articles but when I preview my edits this overwrites their military histories, probably because they also use the module parameter. I've tried to number the parameters to get around this but that hasn't worked. Thanks! ThatRandomGuy1 (talk) 21:46, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the uploads! You should be able to just add another module parameter directly beneath the |commands= (in George V) and |awards= (in Edward VIII) parameters, no renumbering necessary, so just another |module=. All the best, ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 21:54, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ThatRandomGuy1: Were you not able to find anything for Elizabeth II after she became queen? ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 17:28, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply! I haven't been able to use Wikipedia much in the last week or so. Yes, I found a recording of her Coronation speech which according to UK Crown Copyright law is now in the public domain. I'll add that to her article now!
