Balesur-e Sofla (Persian: بلسورسفلي), also Romanized as Balesūr-e Soflá; also known as Balah Sūr and Balehsūr-e Pā'īn,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Aland Rural District of Safayyeh District, Khoy County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Dizaj-e Aland.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,053 in 186 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,309 people in 288 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,060 people in 240 households.[2]
