Please note that Afrikaans is an officially recognized language in Namibia as well!

South Africa should probably be removed from this list, or this page should be clear that Dutch in this instance includes languages largely derived from Dutch. Afrikaans (as spoken in South Africa and Namibia) is a language separate from Dutch, and not a creole or a pidgin. --fugue 11:35, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
