Hemmatabad (Persian: همت اباد), also Romanized as Hemmatābād,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hemmatabad Rural District of the Central District of Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 692 in 177 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,423 people in 660 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,012 people in 305 households.[2]
