Margan-e Azizabad (Persian: مرگن عزيزاباد, also Romanized as Margan-e ‘Azīzābād)[3] was a village in Qarah Quyun-e Jonubi Rural District of Showt District, Maku County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 696 in 154 households.[2]

After the census, the villages of Margan-e Azizabad, Margan-e Esmail Kandi, Margan-e Qadim, and Margan-e Vasat merged to form the new city of Marganlar,[4] capital of Qarah Quyun District in the newly established Showt County.[5]
