Pazanan (Persian: پازنان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sepidar Rural District of Sepidar District, Boyer-Ahmad County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 201 in 37 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 167 people in 40 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 186 people in 55 households.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Sepidar District, which was divided into two rural districts,[4] and the village of Sefidar-e Markazi was elevated to the status of a city.[7]
