Rumeshkan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان رومشكان شرقي) is a former administrative division of the former Rumeshkan District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital was Chaqabol.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 19,418 in 4,055 households.[5] There were 21,587 inhabitants in 5,222 households at the following census of 2011.[2]

In 2013, Rumeshkan County was created from the district, with two new districts and two rural districts each. The city of Chaqabol became the new county's capital. Rumeshkan-e Sharqi Rural District was renamed Rumeshkan Rural District.[6]
