1947 Gator Bowl Attendance[edit]

Does anyone know where the attendance number of 10,034 comes from? The official Gator Bowl website https://www.taxslayergatorbowl.com/game-history/1940s-game-history lists the attendance of 10,134, however every contemporary newspaper report of the game I've found claims 17,000 (or one at 18,000).
