Possibly confusing statement[edit]

When stating that Berry was "a Whip in Margaret Thatcher's government", I wonder if it needs to be clear that he was not a serving whip at the time of his death. As the Anthony Berry article's info boxes show, he had last held government office in June 1983 when he ceased to be Treasurer of the Household (the official office held by the Government Deputy Chief Whip). This reflects the fact that after the 1983 general election there was a major reshuffle as part of which Berry left office, and so he had not been a whip for well over a year by the time of his death. This is a bit of an issue as many later articles do wrongly state that Berry was a serving whip at the time of his death, although contemporary reports describe him as "former deputy chief whip" - see for instance The Glasgow Herald 13 October 1984 link here.
