Nadal qualified?[edit]

Do we have a source that verifies that? Djokovic has been confirmed on the ATP website, but it also says that he's the first to do do and have nothing about Nadal. It happened after the Wimbledon win and no other tournaments has been finished until now and not even a single week passed. Can I ask for a source for Nadal? "ATP World Tour Masters 1000" section of the table - from Reference Desk[edit]

A question has been asked on WP:RD/E regarding the omission of Monte Carlo from the "ATP World Tour Masters 1000" section of the results table. Stan Wawrinka's win at Monte Carlo appears instead under "Best Other". Is this an error in the table? If not, why is Monte Carlo not in the "Masters 1000" section? Perhaps the article could be clarified to explain this. Tevildo (talk) 10:41, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Qualified players?[edit]

In case of only eight players could qualify to World Tour Finals, those players who can't reach the same amount of points that the eighth qualified player right now (Milos Raonic) must be deleted of the table of contenders. For example, the players who don't participate on Shanghai Masters (except Jo-Wilfried Tsonga) only could get 1,750 points plus, which is not enough to reach Milos Raonic's points. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.220.192.107 (talk) 03:41, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Selection list for qualification[edit]

I have added a paragraph to the Qualification section to say that a grand slam winner who finishes outside the top 8 but inside the top 20 qualifies in 8th place ahead of the 8th ranked player at the end of the year. This is described in Section 4.01.B (1) of the 2014 ATP World Tour Rulebook.[1] Technically, the players that qualify are the top 8 players on the selection list. This consists of the top 7 ranked players, then up to 2 Grand Slam winners of that year (in order of ranking) if they are ranked between 8 and 20 in the year-end rankings, then the remaining players ranked 8 onwards. So both the 8th player and the first alternate could be players who do not make the top 8/9. This could be particularly relevant this year as Cilic could easily finish outside the top 8, but qualify by virtue of his US Open win.

Added a second sentence explaining what happens to second player or team to win a grand slam but finish outside the top 8 as this is particularly relevant for the doubles this year, with two teams likely to end up in that situation (Pospisil/Sock and Kubot/Lindstedt). I think that Cilic is now bound to qualify by virtue of his US Open win. Should he therefore now be highlighted in gold? Prim Ethics (talk) 17:16, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gulbis from list of contenders because Murray's wins in Vienna let them out of chances to qualify. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chamorro133 (talkcontribs) 14:54, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Accessibility issue[edit]

Color cannot be the only way to direct someone to information. When it says "Players in pink withdrew during the tournament and were replaced by an alternate" colorblind readers have great difficulty. There needs to be an additional symbol added per WP:ACCESSIBILITY. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:39, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
