Source on 99p Thomas the Tank Engine Beach Football Design[edit]

I think somebody is trolling. I can't find a source for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.139.36.65 (talk) 14:00, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's definitely official. I'll find a source, but I'm overworked. I have a PHD in ball design so please trust me on this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.232.36.77 (talk) 22:15, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Brazuca does not mean "Brazilian Diaspora"[edit]

The diaspora is real enough (even if I don't remember ever seeing it called by that name before), but "Brazuca" is simply self-applied slang from "brazilian". It is quite informal a word, but not usually pejorative. I'll correct the text. Luis Dantas (talk) 13:08, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brazuca ball - repeated insertions made in Pakistan[edit]

Dear all. I wanted to get some ideas of how other contributors feels about something, and how to handle it. I'm cross-posting to Talk:2014 FIFA World Cup as well as it involves that page. Certainly on the main Adidas Brazuca there are contributor(s) who feel that the ball is made in Pakistan is worthy of putting in the introductory paragraph. This is despite (1) the fact it is misleading as it is also made in China, and (2) it is mentioned in the production section of the page. I also feel that it is not notable enough to go in the main introduction section. This also applies to the paragraph in 2014 FIFA World Cup where this statement gets repeatedly inserted, where I think it is something that can be seen in the main Adidas Brazuca page. The comment on adding it to the Brazuca page is "Why this gets removed? Hate mongering against Pakistan?". Eventually I will run up to the three revert rule and was seeking concensus with the group how to handle it: (a) delete it, (b) keep it and also add in it is made in China? - With Thanks Master Of Ninja (talk) 16:18, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, first of all, I regret on my edit summary, that was not directed to you, but that is a general apology. I just feel that I did wrong. Anyhow, the problem is not the "Made in China" or the "Made in Pakistan", the real concern is its manufacturing for the world cup, and the references provided prove that the Chinese company could not catch up to the demand, and thus the Forward Sports was given a contract. I have added info regarding the ball's general manufacturing in China, in the lead. Whereas it's mentioned clearly that for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the ball was provided by Forward Sports. The text regarding China was removed by another user here. Faizan 08:44, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
